I'll also be upgrading both monitors my primary to LG's 34UC89G-B, and my secondary I'm still shopping around. I'll probably add another 4 or 6TB HD if I catch one on sale. Monitors: Primary: LG 34UM68-P, Secondary: Viewsonic VA2759-SMH. Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 ohm Mic Setup: Shure SM57, A2WS Windscreen, Rode PSA-1 Mic Stand, DBX 286S Preamp/Processor, Shure MVi USB Audio Interface Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bitĬase Fans: 5x Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 PWM 140mm Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB FTW Popular components in PC builds with the MSI Z97-G43 GAMING (MS-7816) Motherboard. HDD: Western Digital Red Pro 4TB 3.5" 7200RPM x2 Memory: Crucial Ballistix Tactical 32GB DDR3 1600MHZ Speakers: Creative GigaWorks T20 Series IIĬPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor OC to I tried installing Linux but apparently Windows doesn't like to share drives. At least I know it's not being stressed too much and I'll hopefully get a good run out of it. PSU: EVGA 750W Supernova G2 - 750W is overkill for this system I know but this was in my old PC which needed more power. HDD: (not pictured) WD 1TB Blue 7200RPM - this was the first drive i put in because i couldn't afford an SSD but put it back in as a secondary because my SSD is quickly filling up. need more space though! will probably replace this with a m.2 when the time comes. highest i got was 2933 but just went to 2666. RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16GB 3200 (running at 2666) - i wish i had gone for 32GB now but this will do for now. when overclocked it very rarely goes over 70C and stays quiet. GPU: MSI Gaming X 1070 8GB - no complaints. Intel Burn Test at Max doesn't go over 74C (vs 83C on the 212X). with the R1 temps are about 19-24C at normal usage. Don't feel any need to upgrade it any time soon.Ĭooler: Cryorig R1 - originally had a Coolermaster 212X but wanted something better. 4.6 is asking too much so i guess i got unlucky. what can i say?ĬPU: i7-6700K - runs at 4.5 which is the best i can do. Motherboard: MSI Z170A-G43+ - does the job. I did buy a 1440p monitor but wasn't happy with it so went back to this one. Monitor: (not pictured) BenQ RL2455HM 1080p 60hz. Case: Fractal Design Define S with 4x140mm fans - there a couple minor things i'd change like being able to remove the bottom filter from the front and easier removal of the top moduvents.
